Looking ahead to 2027, the forecast points to a 7% rebound in resales (up to 483,600) and a modest increase in benchmark values\u2014just under 1% to $800,700\u2014reinforcing the idea of a measured recovery rather than a boom.<\/p>\n<p>One factor supporting the market is pent-up demand. The bank estimates that more than 400,000 Canadian households may not have formed since 2019, as many people have postponed their buying decisions.
